Tall Grass Prairie Walk

Join us for a guided walk through a tall grass prairie.

Some past events that we have held include guided walks to observe the fall colors, wildflowers, mushrooms, and more. We have also had guest speakers and presenters join us to provide educational content! We have had an owl show, including various birds of prey. We have also hosted events explaining the importance of man-made habitats for species of animals like wood ducks.

We are also open to arranging private showings for groups of people! Reach out in advance and we would love to find a date and time to get you and your group out to the nature preserve, whether you’re a teacher wanting to bring students, a club looking for something specific that we have to offer, or just a group that loves to get outside!
